Since its launch in February 2000 the CSA Terminal Andernach has increased continuously. The trustful cooperation between Stadtwerke Andernach and H&S Container Line (Member of B-Logistics) is the key to this success.

Since the start of the cooperation, for the port director Bernd Lenz and the Managing Director of H&S Heiko Brückner are customers, trust and service in the foreground. In 2009, more than 76,000 TEU were handled through the terminal.

Because of the newly completed investment of 18 million euros in the expansion of the port and in a new efficient intermodal terminal, Andernach will make a further step into the next age with the tri-modal connection of the terminal, modern equipment and IT.

The new intermodal terminal Andernach has a floor space of 42,000 sqm and a storage capacity of 4,000 TEU. 750m railway track is provided at the terminal. A modern 50-tons container gantry crane and three powerful reach stackers of 45 tons lifting capacity make the modern infrastructure complete. With a long-term partnership and a joint strategy both directing managers will continue another success story.

Andernach is integrated in the network of H&S Container Line, with each three departures per week to Rotterdam and Antwerp by the most modern ship tonnage. In addition, the terminal is connected to the leading Upper Rhine service "Blue Arrow Line". For our customers, the proximity to the terminal in Andernach is an important milestone in terms of "Green Logistics" / reduction of C02 emissions and the optimization of their processes.
